B4U Post is designed to clean metadata before sharing media. The app is built with an on-device workflow so you can inspect and remove sensitive fields before posting.
What B4U Post processes
B4U Post reads media metadata on your device to show what may be exposed before sharing.
- Capture date and time metadata
- Location/GPS metadata fields
- Device and camera identifier fields
- Media file properties needed for export
- User-selected privacy mode settings
- Share destination chosen by the user
What we do not collect directly
B4U Post does not require an account and we do not build a MidState user profile for app use.
- No profile or account data
- No contact list collection
- No sale of user data
- No server-side media uploads by default
- No background data collection
- No automatic remote retention by MidState
Advertising (Google AdMob)
B4U Post uses Google AdMob to display ads in the ad-supported app experience.
You can remove ads permanently with a one-time in-app purchase of $0.99 USD. When that purchase is active, ads are not requested or shown.
When AdMob is active, Google may automatically collect certain information such as device/app identifiers (including advertising identifiers when permitted), IP address, approximate location, app/device information, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
We aim to minimize data use where practical, do not sell your personal information, and do not use your media content to create a MidState advertising profile.
Where required by platform rules or applicable law, consent/permission is requested before personalized ad tracking is used. You can manage ad preferences in your device privacy settings.

Sharing and outbound data
B4U Post creates a cleaned copy of media and only sends content to the destination you explicitly select using the system share sheet.
If you choose social platforms, messaging tools, or cloud destinations, their own privacy terms apply to shared copies.
On-device storage and retention
B4U Post does not maintain a MidState cloud profile. Cleaned output is stored where you choose to save or share it.

Children's privacy and policy updates
